Peak District - Chatsworth

The home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, Chatsworth is set in the Peak District National Park.

One of the many rooms in the estate. A lot of the extravagant stuff was put in over the years to impress the King/Queen; it's also to impress others that the family was connected to the King/Queen. I didn't even want to think about where the money came from. And it pi$$ed me off that we had to pay 11pounds a head to see this.

The grounds and gardens are very pretty though.

We walked past some very tasty looking chickens and even a pheasant!
